SeeVolution offers four types of heatmaps:
- Click Heatmap: Show’s which objects visitors are clicking on. Objects include links, images, flash, and buttons.
- Scroll Heatmap: Show’s how far down the page people are scrolling. Scroll heatmaps account for screen resolutions and different monitor sizes.
- Live Click Heatmap: Show’s clicks as they are happening! Watch your website come to life with live clicks.
- Mouse Movement Heatmap: Aggregates all mouse movements from visitors and displays hot and cold areas of your website.
The SeeVolution heatmap technology gives you site overlays that span the entirety of your tracked pages and illustrate areas of high and low user activity.
Generated by the monitoring of thousands of visitor clicks, scrolls and mouse movements - heatmaps break down the user interaction with the web page and provide a narrative for how individual visitor sessions take place.
Heatmaps play a crucial role in understanding how your site's usability can be enhanced:
If the Click Heatmap indicates that a high volume of users are clicking in areas where there aren't links, you can restructure the site to ensure that hotspots are connected to links that are directing customers toward a sale.
Heatmaps allow you to organize your web page for optimal visitor interaction and eliminate areas that indicate user frustration.
